Ken has developed and delivered programmes and talks in the areas of enterprise support and development, social enterprise, social entrepreneurship and issues relating to business and the community and voluntary sector. The following is a list of formal programmes and workshops developed and delivered but Ken has developed bespoke programmes as required:
Write Your Own Business Plan Programme: 22 hour programme where participants actually write their business plan as they work through the course and have their completed draft business plan at the end of the programme. Covers management, operations, sales and marketing, financials, implementation and executive summary.
Write Your Own Social Enterprise Business Plan: 25 hour programme similar to the standard WYOBP but designed for social enterprises, looking at defining social mission, setting social and economic objectives, management and stakeholder engagement, addressing mission drift and looking at the funding mix as well as operations, sales and marketing and financial plans.
Pre-Start Your Own Business Course: 14 hour programme designed to help people who have a desire to become self employed but have not fully defined their business idea or are not fully aware of the implications for being self employed.
